Both the WSJ and the NYT pose a long overdue series of series questions today (actually the editorial pages of the WSJ has been asking them for a while). Why and and where is the money going to at AIG. It seems that any citizen consumer of the US would want answers to these questions. [...]

Both the WSJ and the NYT pose a long overdue series of series questions today (actually the editorial pages of the WSJ has been asking them for a while). Why and and where is the money going to at AIG. It seems that any citizen consumer of the US would want answers to these questions. A few months ago, it seemed that people were content to let a bunch of talking heads on the Sunday news channels say what was necessary without any coherent explanation (s). Now, billions of dollars and goverment taxpayer guarantees later, perhaps we’ll finally get some answers. It seems that fewer and fewer people are maintaining confidence in the talking heads and citizens, consumers, taxpayers are left holding the bag.
