April 17th, I was the keynote speaker at the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce Spring Mixer. I discussed how “Shopping as Social Entertainment” is no longer the paradigm of retail commerce in this country. I wrapped up my talk hitting the mixer topic, Stronger Together, by noting that many of the constituents who have reached out since my election are seeking advice on how to connect with local businesses. I see a strong opportunity for me to help facilitate such connections.
